Hampton Bays Volunteer Ambulance is always in need of new members to carry out its mission. This is an excellent way for you to give to your community and help your neighbors and friends. If you are interested in any of the following types of membership, please fill out the form below.

Membership Levels

General Member:
  • For applicants that live in Hampton Bays
  • 18 Years of Age
  • Driver’s License
  • Required to respond to 5% of alarms or 72 hours of scheduled ride time per quarter
Associate Member:
  • For applicants that live outside Hampton Bays with a current EMT, EMT-CC or Paramedic Certification
  • 18 Years of Age
  • Driver’s License
  • Current New York State EMT, EMT-CC, or EMT-P certification
  • Required to do 12 hours per month of scheduled riding time
Junior Member:
  • For applications that are as young as 14 years old, but not older than 18
  • Parent/Guardian approval
